Or upgrade your current qualifications to the new PRS03 courses as required by the Security Industry Registry, we can provide this upgrade in most circumstances by Recognised Prior Learning RPL or Recognised Current Competency RCC.
For Provisional Security Licence holders, employed within the Security Industry, we offer to train you to Certificate II or Certificate III level, under the Government funded Traineeship Scheme.

Pre-Licence Course Overview
Learners exit with a Certificate 1 in Security Operations 91190NSW. The initial Certificate I Security Operations (Pre-Licence) course will cover:
LICENCE CLASSES:
- Class 1A: authorises the licensee to patrol, guard, watch or protect property (including guarding of cash in transit) (62 hours)
- Class 1B: authorises the licensee to act as a bodyguard (70 hours)
- Class 1C: authorises the licensee to act as a crowd controller or bouncer (77 hours)
- Class 1D: authorises the licensee to act as a security dog handler (117 hours)
- Class 1E: authorises the licensee to act as a central monitoring station operator (40 hours)
- Class 1F: authorises the licensee to act as an armed security officer (104 hours)
- Class 1G: authorises the licensee to act as a retail loss prevention officer (72 hours)
A comprehensive 12 month on and off the job assessment is required to complete Certificate II Security Operations PRS20103 or Certificate III in Security Operations PRS30103, dependant on the licence class needed beyond the Provisional Security Licence. This can be achieved at no cost to you or your employer under the Traineeship scheme. Embedded in the course is the Certificate 1 in Security Operations PRS10103 along with additional modules of learning.
