Start your career in the Security industry today with this nationally recognised training and NSW Police approved Statement of attainment from Certificate II Security Operations (Pre Licence) course. Or upgrade your current qualifications to the new CPP07 courses as required by the Security Industry Registry, we can provide this upgrade in most circumstances by Recognised Prior Learning RPL or Recognised Current Competency RCC.

For Provisional Security Licence holders, employed within the Security Industry, we offer to train you to a full Certificate II to help you obtain your unrestricted Class One security licence.

Security Guards Licence Course

Licence class 1A 1C 1G

10 day course - $650
Week 1: Monday – Friday (8.30-5pm)
Week 2: Monday – Friday (8.30-5pm)

OPTIONS (If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate) Apply First Aid will be run on the middle Saturday

  • Security 1A/1C/1G + First Aid - $700
  • First Aid - $125 (if booked individually)
  • Certificate II Security Operations PRS20103/CPP20207 via RPL/RCC - $400
  • Certificate III Security Operations PRS30103/CPP30407 via RPL/RCC - $400

You will also be required to complete a reading and writing exam before course commencement.

To obtain a license you MUST be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Pre-Licence Course Overview

Learners exit with a Statement of attainment from Certificate II in Security Operations CPP20207. The initial Pre licencing course will cover:

LICENCE CLASSES:

  • Class 1A: authorises the licensee to patrol, guard, watch or protect
  • Class 1C: authorises the licensee to act as a crowd controller or bouncer
  • Class 1G: authorises the licensee to act as a retail loss prevention officer

A comprehensive 12 month on the job assessment is required to obtain the additional modules to be able to upgrade your licence to a unrestricted class one licence.
